The Power of Self Awareness
When someone says something, does something behaves in a particular way towards us, we often take it personally.
It is our perception of what someone said or did that we put on it.
Our perception comes from out unhealed wounds, traumas, fears and beliefs. So when we are triggered by another, it is an opportunity to grow within.
To ask oneself, what part of me is reacting? How old is this part of me? What is my belief behind my petception. What past experience am I projecting on to what this person did?
Such events help us to become more self aware of what is going on in our subconscious.
When we shift our perception, the projection changes. The emotional charge dissolves, it feels more neutral it may even make you laugh at your previous perception and projection.
